Part 1- The Pythagorean Theorem can be applied in this picture to check if the sides are correct. You can apply the Pythagorean Theorem using the equation A(squared)+B(squared)=C(squared), C being the hypotenuse (the line opposite of the right angle) and A and B being the other two lines. So the equation would be 3(squared)+4(squared)=5(squared) which can be simplified to 9+16=25 as represented by the squares. This means the model is correct.

The pythagorean therom can be used by finding the number before the root and add it to the hypotenuse and see if it is true. The missing side is 20cm.

in the first picture to use the pythagoren theorem you use the legs squared to add up then you find the answers factor and thats the hypotenuse. Asquared+Bsquared=Csquared.
